This character has 3 ISM modes, And also an "Alt Mode" (Evil Ryu). their core gameplay still remains the same as in Zero 3. 
Though, they do have a few changes and new additions;

X-ISM: All specials can be charged to turn into stronger versions. Supers can be charge to get more damage.
just like in SFZ3 all characters only have 1 Super, with the exception of  "Shun Goku Satsu" (for E. Ryu).
You can also, cancel a fully charged Special into another one, if you land the special on at least one enemy.

Z-ISM: Mostly remains the same, with the exception that LV2 supers can be cancelled into specials (Just like C-groove CVS2)

A-ISM: Remains Mostly the same, with the exception that you can now use Chain Normals, and any special or normal, can be cancelled
into the Custom Combo Charge.
